Fedi nuziali inviate dalla Georgia al fronte

La guerra dei 4 giorni nel mese di aprile ha mostrato ancora una volta l’unità e la volontà del popolo armeno e la sua voglia infinita di sostenersi a vicenda. Gli Armeni della Diaspora hanno appoggiato la Patria finanziariamente, spiritualmente e fisicamente, e si sono riuniti e semplicemente hanno capito che “Noi siamo Artsakh”.

Il Centro Giovanile per l’Educazione e la Cultura della Diocesi Armena della Georgia “Hayartun” si è schierato con gli Armeni dell’Artsakh fin dal primo giorno dell’inizio delle operazioni militari scatenate nella regione, cercando di dare una mano ai compatrioti con varie iniziative .

Uno degli eventi di beneficenza è stata la mostra/vendita delle opere di pittori Georgiani-Armeni, il ricavato dei quali è stato devoluto per risolvere i problemi fondamentali che deve affrontare l’Artsakh.

Durante l’evento tenutosi a fine aprile, uno degli ospiti, Karen Nanumyan, ha fatto una dichiarazione che ha molto emozionato i partecipanti, fino alle lacrime.

Il Direttore del Centro “Hayartun”, Levon Chidilyan, ha riferito i dettagli di questa storia unica e interessante in un’intervista con Hayern Aysor. “Dopo l’acquisto di alcuni dipinti, Karen ha chiesto di poter fare un discorso. Egli ha espresso la gratitudine per avere avuto la possibilità di aiutare gli Armeni dell’Artsakh, devastati dall’aggressione da parte dell’Azerbaigian, e ha ricordato un episodio tratto dal libro di Khachik Dashtents “Ranchparneri Kanche” (La chiamata degli contadini). In questo episodio, non trovando più l’oro, il Guerriero Andranik non ne trova più nemmeno nelle sue tasche, e per salvare la vita di un bambino, ordina a tutti gli altri di portare l’oro, ma invano. La situazione si risolve quando Aladin Misak Haiduk, il miglior interprete di canzoni curde, viene in soccorso e salva la vita del bambino cantando canzoni, che significano oro per un altro armeno… In seguito, Karen si è scusato con la moglie, togliendosi la sua fede nuziale d’oro dal dito e ha annunciato che l’avrebbe spedita in Artsakh. Eravamo tutti sbalorditi. Eravamo tutti impietriti. Silenzio… e poi la moglie russa ha iniziato a parlare. Ha detto che ha condiviso condivideva l’idea di suo marito e, senza pensarci due volte, si è tolta la sua fede dal dito e ha annunciato che l’avrebbe inviata anche lei in Artsakh.

Ma non è tutto. Il loro figlio, che era nella stanza, essendosi acceso il suo spirito patriottico, si è tolto la collana in argento con l’immagine di San Giorgio e lo ha consegnato a noi. Stavamo cercando di convincerli a non farlo, ma invano. La loro decisione era definitiva.

Così, abbiamo preso gli anelli per il Karabakh e li abbiamo consegnati al servitore spirituale delle forze armate dell’Artsakh, il diacono Samvel Mkrtchyan a condizione che gli anelli sarebbero stati donati nel corso di una cerimonia nuziale e al primo soldato che avesse deciso di sposarsi al proprio ritorno dalle postazioni militari.

Abbiamo deciso di donare la collana d’argento a uno dei soldati sul confine. Abbiamo seguito il consiglio di un comandante e lo abbiamo consegnato a Samvel Navoyan, che si era distinto per il valore mostrato durante la guerra dei quattro giorni. Che si trattasse dalla provvidenza o coincidenza, una cosa interessante è accaduta. Durante la nostra conversazione con il soldato, abbiamo scoperto che egli proveniva dalla Georgia e che aveva trascorso la sua infanzia a Tbilisi. Abbiamo anche scoperto che i nonni di Samvel Navoyan erano vicini di Karen Nanumyan … ”

Questo è il miglior esempio che mostra quali siano i veri valori di una famiglia formata da un uomo armeno e da una donna russa. È quando qualcuno può rinunciare a qualcosa che simboleggia l’amore e 22 anni di vita insieme e un sacro cimelio per il bene della madrepatria, e donarlo ad un soldato che lotta tutti i giorni per proteggere i confini della propria Patria.

Aspettiamo il matrimonio del nostro eroico soldato. Speriamo che il giorno più importante della sua vita sia segnato con una storia fortemente simbolica che continuerà a vivere nei nostri cuori come una grande memoria per molti anni.

Wedding rings sent from Georgia to the frontline

The war in April showed once again the unity and will of the Armenian people and their infinite willingness to support each other. Diaspora Armenians stood with the Homeland financially, spiritually and physically, came together and simply realized that We are Artsakh.

The “Hayartun” Educational, Cultural and Youth Center of the Armenian Diocese of Georgia has stood with the Armenians of Artsakh since the very first day of the military operations unleashed in Artsakh, trying to lend a helping hand to the Armenians of Artsakh with various initiatives.

One of the regular charity events was the exhibition-sale that showcased the works of Georgian-Armenian painters and the proceeds of which were geared towards the solution to the key issues facing Artsakh.

During the event held in late April, guest Karen Nanumyan made a statement that stirred the attendees’ emotions and filled their eyes with tears.

Director of the “Hayartun” Center Levon Chidilyan provided details about this unique and interesting story in an interview with Hayern Aysor. “After purchasing some paintings, Karen asked to give a speech. He expressed gratitude for having the opportunity to help the Armenians of Artsakh devastated by Azerbaijan’s aggression and recalled an episode from Khachik Dashtents’s book “Ranchparneri Kanche” (Call of the Ploughmen). In that episode, when there is no more gold left, Warrior Andranik doesn’t find any more gold in his pockets to save the life of the child and orders to bring gold, but in vain. That is when Aladin Misak Haiduk, the best performer of Kurdish songs, comes to the rescue and saves the child’s life by singing songs, meaning gold to another Armenian…

Afterwards, Karen apologized to his wife, removed his golden wedding ring from his finger and announced that he would be sending it to Artsakh. We were all in awe. It was a stalemate. Silence…and then his Russian wife spoke. She said she shared her husband’s idea and, without thinking twice, removed her ring from her finger and announced that she would also be sending the ring to Artsakh.

But that was not all. Their son, who was in the room, felt patriotic, took off his silver necklace with the image of Saint Gevorg and gave it to us. We were trying to convince them not to do that, but it was in vain. Their decision was final.

So, we took the rings to Karabakh and gave them to spiritual servant of the army of Artsakh, Deacon Samvel Mkrtchyan under the condition that the rings would be given during a wedding ceremony and to the first soldier who decided to get married upon his return from the military positions.

We planned to donate the silver necklace to one of the soldiers on the border. We took a commander’s advice and gave it to Samvel Navoyan, who had stood out with the endeavors that he made during the four-day war. Whether it was by providence or coincidence, an interesting thing happened. During our conversation with the soldier, we found out that he was from Georgia and that he had spent his childhood in Tbilisi. We also found out that Samvel Navoyan’s grandparents were Karen Nanumyan’s neighbors…”

This is the best example that shows the real values of a family that an Armenian man and a Russian woman started. It is when one can give up something that symbolizes love and 22 years of a life together and a holy relic for the sake of the homeland and donate it to the soldier leading a struggle for the protection of the Homeland’s borders.

Let us wait for our heroic soldier’s wedding. Let us hope that that important day in his life is marked with an enigmatic story that will live on in our hearts as a great memory for many years.
